From accolades like the Guggenheim Fellowship to projects like "Surfacing" at The Cleveland Museum of Art and "Farandole" at Lincoln Center, Kasumi consistently pushes the envelope of digital expression. Kasumi's diverse portfolio ranges from large scale prints to curved LED installations at Rocket Mortgage Field House to projection mapping at Wagenhallen, Stuttgart. Her work has captivated audiences at Carnegie Hall, Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires and The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and VJ collaborations with pop icon luminaries like Grandmaster Flash and DJ Spooky. Her versatility extends to public art installations worldwide including DC Tower, Vienna, contributions to "The Eric Andre Show," and accomplishments as a musician, including an Academy Award nomination for her soundtrack performance in Japan, published books and even an interactive comic book app.
